Scatter's Quest

Kids of all ages, come join Scatter on a hero's quest to find a new home for all the animals of Wakaduo. Destruction looms and time is of the essence. This story is a breath of fresh air that allows kids to join an adventure, a quest for survival, a journey of self-discovery. Children will love the imaginative illustrations of Africa, its animals and places. Kids will also learn important lessons of life along the way. Discuss the meanings of the African proverbs that appear at the beginning of each chapter and try to guess what will happen next, as Scatter and his friends travel along this challenging and entertaining adventure. They must cross The Desert of No Return, into the New Lands and the Mountain of Dreams, all the while being pursued by the voracious predators of Ruaha. Enter the Wonder Hole, the famous Cave of African lore, escape the swamp of mists, navigate the Rango forest. This is just a glimpse of the adventures that await you in Scatter's Quest.

Each chapter presents a new challenge that the animal heroes must successfully navigate. Lessons of friendship, courage, leadership, trust, wisdom, determination and perseverance are offered. The story is a fiction that takes place in many parts of Africa but is based in the country of Tanzania. You will recognize the names of many places in book. This will hopefully stimulate children's interest in Africa's animals and places.
