The Omega Codex

A book the Church buried for a thousand years. A storm no aircraft can fly. One night to save it.

High in the Italian Alps, in a monastery cut off by snow, a Vatican scholar is about to confirm the most dangerous manuscript in the Church's secret archives: the Omega Codex, a ninth-century account of the End of Days, written by a witness who has never once been wrong.

Then the phone line goes dead. Headlights climb the only road.

Twenty-two mercenaries, paid by a billionaire who wants the Church exposed, have come to seize the Codex and burn it on camera for the whole world to see. Standing between them and the book are a terrified scholar, two monks, and a ninety-year-old prior with a bolt-action rifle and a soldier's past he swore never to use again.

With the storm grounding every aircraft and Rome a mountain too far away, the Pope has one option: Kimball Hayden and his Vatican Knights. Five men. One impossible climb. A night that will force Kimball to become the killer he has spent twenty years trying to bury.

But the Codex holds one last secret: a prophecy about the man who would come to save it.
