Jack was on Tinian Island when the Atomic bomb was dropped. Jack knows how important the atomic bomb was for this country. Jack believes that the atomic bomb saved many soldiers lives, because the invasion of Japan would have cost thousands of American soldiers.
The B29 was dropped from the Nola Gay and then it returned to Tinian Island. August 9th 1945. They dropped one more then the War ended.
