A man going to a house to rob a wealthy lady who lives alone has the tables turned when she catches him in the act and invites him to stay the weekend assuring him she won’t call the cops and that come Monday he can be about his way with whatever he wants. She wants the company and he wants her jewels. As the hours fade they talk, eat dinner and become acquainted. The lady seemingly falls for the man telling himself reminds her of a younger version of her husband who died months early in a car accident. The situation becomes more entangled as the nights wear on. The heat rises and one of them gets killed. Now the killer is on trial for their life in a state were murder is meet with the death penalty. Were they in the right or the wrong. Only time will tell and with minimal evidence the question that remains is why? Why did they call the cops on themselves and why did they turn themselves in? When there was no evidence to link the two individuals? The race for the truth starts and with another life on the line the stakes are high.
