This companion to Baby Signs (2008), which demonstrated how babies can use sign language to communicate with adults, doesn't aim quite as high it's a straightforward introduction to everyday noises a small child might encounter. Allen's cozy drawings center on a fuzzy-haired baby, who is first seen in his crib, listening to a bird tweeting and a cat meowing.
