Bent on revenge for the disappearance of a family I vowed to protect, I buy, sight unseen, the slayer who allowed it to happen. Staying angry with her isn't easy. Punishing her is even worse. She looks at me with her amethyst eyes, and all I want to do is punish her in other ways.
