Fate's Gate

This is a short story about an elderly American Indian woman who must decide what to do after witnessing her Chief make a deal to contaminate the reservation with toxic jet fuel. The Chief is a cold blooded killer who wants nothing more than to eliminate those who get in the way of his evil plans. In this battle of morality good does not always overpower evil and there are no easy answers, for everything truly lies in the hands of fate.
