Excellent. I’m still coming back to read/listen it again. Never ending handbook and source of inspiration. Every time.

Not for everyone

I decided to give the book a shot after it was mentioned in Atomic Habits and also by a YouTuber I follow. Sadly in both instances it was just the 2 minute rule and you really don’t need to read Getting Things Done to start using it. The rest of the book seems to be targeted mainly at either c-suite leaders or high level managers.

As a Senior Graphic Designer who was hoping to enhance my already pretty well organised life I found most of the book hard to relate to (stuff like having literally dozens of tasks after collecting everything important, that seems definitely like a high level problem). I also find it hard to apply when your life is 99% in the digital space and you try to limit the amount of things you own to the bare minimum - in my case I really try to keep everything in the cloud instead of having pieces of paper for everything. I also work remotely so my office is wherever I feel any given day.

Maybe I misunderstood the contents but I do feel that a separate version for the remote only and digital oriented crowd could be more helpful. This particular one is just not for me sadly.
