Have you ever felt life threw you into a pit and left you for dead?  Situations can catch us off guard and hit hard, like a punch to the gut, knocking the very wind out of us when we are not looking. That punch renders us helpless, keeled over in a fetal position - trying to catch our breath, and asking, “what happened?”  


What happened to those dreams that looked ever so promising and true? What happened to the visions that were so clear, so vivid, and almost tangible? What happened to the words that God spoke directly to me about me? Did they all die in the pit? Did they vanish in the wind that was knocked out of me? Or could they still be alive – waiting for me in a place called GOSHEN?


Goshen: A Journey of Survival Amidst a God-Ordained Famine is the author’s story of a season of loss in her life, and God’s plan to provide, protect and preserve His people. She uses the biblical story of Joseph to show how God’s power back then, is the same power He will demonstrate in our famine-experiences today.
