How to teach your child to take responsibility in doing homework consistently and independently, and stopping fights about the matter?

 

The endless struggle regarding homework is complex. The parents are exhausted and the kids refuse to do homework on their own. It's important and it's possible to create a suitable situation in which the children are those responsible for the task, and the parents are only there for support and reinforcement. Homework is important to more than just exercising school material. A child who tends to prepare his own homework independently will gradually become a responsible adult, who knows how to manage his time efficiently, an adult who realizes that duties come before privileges, and he will become someone who is able to organize things, plan ahead, solve problems, make an effort and learn to deal with difficulties and frustrations successfully.
