John H. Cleveland: A Teamster's Life

A humble man from humble beginnings, Cleveland’s journey took him through the era of Jim Crow and the segregated South, the economic strife of the Depression, and the optimism of the labor and civil rights movements. His destiny was to be a faithful servant to his union membership and to play a role in bringing change to the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. He led the union life for more than 50 years.
