Josie and the Bear

Josie Parks is a seventeen year old girl who loves all kinds of animals. She would help sick or injured wild animals when she could, but she never expected to find a black bear about to give birth in her own woods. It was a discovery that would change her life forever, for the cub would become one of her best friends. When it became obvious that she had a gift with animals, she was offered a job at the CAWS foundation. Before long she became part of a very unique search and rescue team. Janet, who worked with Josie, wanted to get her fired. She tested Josie's survival skills, but Josie was determined to do her best and earn the respect of her co-workers. This is an endearing tale of an ordinary girl who does some extraordinary things. It's a story for young and old alike.
