Johann Jacob Friedrich Wilhelm von Parrot (1791 - 1841) was the Indiana Jones of his day, and his information is well documented in “Journey to Ararat”. This is a scholarly book, but easy to read.

This book is an eyewitness’ account of the hunt for Noah’s Ark. Science and Archeology haven’t changed too very much in these fields since this book was first published in 1855.
