Ladies of Paradise

There have been many women in the history of the world who have become great and famous because of their great deeds. Mankind can justly be proud of them. ‘Ladies of Paradise’ contains achievements of sixteen women who measure up to the high standards of true greatness and perfection set by Islam. These stories will encourage our Islamic sisters to get more knowledge about such great women. It is part of the “Encyclopedia of Islamic Jurisprudence Concerning Muslim Women” series written by Yusuf Al-Hajj Ahmad. This series addresses those matters of life and religion that are essential in facilitating a woman’s role as a mother, teacher and nurturer.
