Maa Vaishno Devi

Under these adverse circumstances the omnipotent God always manifests Himself in different incarnation in order to destroy wicked demons and to protect His devotees. The incarnation of goddess Vaishnavi also took place for the destruction of demons and for the protection and welfare of Creation. The demons were terrified of seeing her very splendor and ran down to the nether world to save their lives.
