My Sister, My Hero

MY SISTER, MY HERO is a historical fiction based on the real experiences of Salome Welner in World War II France. Her journey took her from a pampered pre-teen in Metz, to a prison camp in Paris, to the woods with the Resistance near Montreuil, to a farm in Maille on the day of the massacre there, to a ship landng in New York. During her four year journey, she saved a friend's life, delivered messages for the Resistance, and became both mother and hero to her little sister Alice.
