Amber Blackwood is still reeling from the loss of her friend Melanie Cole. As the town's resident odd duck, Amber doesn't have many close ties in Edgehill. So when a vandal threatens the safety and livelihood of Betty Harris, the owner of Purrfectly Scrumptious, Amber wants to help.

The vandal smashed cupcakes Betty had stored for an upcoming hoity-toity wedding for a Bridezilla who is driving everyone in town batty. Things only get worse when a cupcake causes the Bridezilla to go into anaphylactic shock.

Worried about her friend's reputation and livelihood, Amber searches for the perpetrator. Is someone targeting Betty and her shop, or trying to hurt the bride-to-be? All Amber knows is that she must stop the saboteur before Betty loses much more than her beloved cupcake shop.
