You may find some repetition (about 5,10%) between all the books. These repeating parts are related to shading techniques, materials, coloring techniques, color theory etc. This repetition is present because of two reasons:

a)To make each book ‘self sufficient’ so the readers won’t have to rely on any external material to make sense of the techniques used in the book they are reading.

b)Even though the materials, color theory, coloring techniques are common between books, there are certain differences.



For example, the paper used for the demonstrations in Painting with Watercolor is different than the paper used in Pen, Ink and Watercolor Sketching on Toned Paper. Some techniques are better suited to watercolor paintings than they are suited to pen and watercolor.



Each book in this omnibus can be read as a standalone volume. You may jump to any of the books of your choosing and start reading.

Between the four books, this omnibus contains 40 step by step exercises in which you will employ various sketching and painting techniques.
