Signal Processing In Space and Time
Publisher Description
This book covers the basics of digital signal processing (DSP) for acoustic wave fields. It discusses familiar tools, such as the Nyquist sampling theorem, the Fourier transform, and time-frequency analysis in the context of theoretical acoustics, and shows how these tools can be generalized to account for the three dimensions of space. It also discusses how acoustic wave fields can be processed in discrete space and time, in order to perform DSP operations such as filtering and coding.
