The Toad Spit Hero

Scottie McIntosh and his sisters meet three witches and a magical boy Uwan on a holiday in Outback Australia. Uwan is hunted by the thugines, an evil race who wishes to destroy all wonder and joy on Earth. Scottie swallows Toad Spit in a desperate attempt to rescue Uwan. He finds himself transported to China in the nineteenth century. But he is captured by the thugines and sent to their planet. He must use all his cunning to stay alive while his friends look for ways to help him escape.
