This book contains a fairly detailed description of Catherine of Aragon's early life and first marriage to Prince Arthur in addition to her divorce proceedings with King Henry VIII much later. The narrative also gives detail on the time in Catherine's life between her marriage to Arthur and Henry, when she was nearly destitute and used as a pawn in her father's political schemes.
