Each short story is a famous classic work rescued from obscurity. The children in the Reading Room of Rainbow Land choose a classic book to be read by Wise Owl. The book is read and it is then snack time when everyone is able to enjoy their several rainbow snacks: Rainbow Macaroons, Rainbow Ice Cream, and Rainbow Sherbet. Some of the Rainbow Bears enjoy their snack in the Tree House.
