Jabberwocky

Enter the strange, dangerous, and wonderfully imaginative world of Jabberwocky, Lewis Carroll’s legendary masterpiece of nonsense verse and fantasy adventure. First appearing in Through the Looking-Glass, this unforgettable poem introduced readers to the fearsome Jabberwock and a bizarre dreamscape filled with mysterious creatures, heroic danger, and some of the most inventive language ever written.

Carroll turns a simple tale of a young hero confronting a terrible monster into something completely unique through rhythm, sound, absurdity, and imagination. Words such as “chortle” and “galumph” entered everyday English through Carroll’s linguistic genius, while Jabberwocky itself has inspired generations of writers, artists, filmmakers, and fantasy storytellers.

Narrated by Geoffrey Giuliano and The Rebellion, this production brings Carroll’s extraordinary language vividly to life with dramatic energy, humor, menace, and excitement. Giuliano’s distinctive theatrical delivery makes this classic poem feel fresh, strange, and wonderfully alive for a new generation of listeners.
