Twenty Drawings (1919) serves as the first major visual introduction to the ethereal, symbolist art of Kahlil Gibran, published shortly before his literary masterpiece, The Prophet. The collection features a series of delicate, wash-style illustrations that blend Western Romanticism with Eastern mysticism, often centering on the human form in states of spiritual transcendence or profound longing.
