4245 Corporation v. Division Beverage

This is an appeal from a conviction of manslaughter arising from Joyce Hawthornes third trial for the murder of her husband. Her first conviction, for first degree murder, was reversed by this Court in Hawthorne v. State, 377 So.2d 780 (Fla. 1st DCA 1979) (Hawthorne I). The opinion in that case contains an adequate presentation of the facts surrounding the shooting of appellants husband, Aubrey Hawthorne, and those facts will not be reiterated here.
