Life is the most difficult exam….

I never thought I'd see my name smeared all over the campus gossip sites. Yet there it was, in black and white, my name and the word Scandal.

It all started with a blurry photo showing me and my Teaching Assistant kissing when we weren't even supposed to be dating.

Now it's all over campus. They're threatening to take away his job and kick him out of school altogether. If that happens, I'll be forever known as that girl who tried to spread her legs for a grade.

No matter how hard I protest, no matter who I go to in my quest for understanding, all I get is rejection. No one wants to listen to my side of the story. They don't care I'm in love. They don't care I'm an adult and I have a right to make my own decisions. The optics of the situation are bad, and that's all the college can focus on.

There comes a time in everyone's life when they must stand up and draw a line in the sand.

I have to find a way out to save my reputation and his job. Even if I have to throw myself under a bus, so be it. But are we in love enough to get through this?
