After a hearing on stipulated facts, the trial court entered a decree in favor of the plaintiff. Defendant appealed. The question for decision is whether, under the Alien Land Act (Stats. 1921, p. lxxxiii, adopted as an initiative measure, Deering's Gen. Laws, Act 261, as amended), the plaintiff is barred from acquiring real property in this state.
