Alfred N. Olson v. Charles K. Christiansen

Action in the district court for Hennepin county to recover for injuries sustained by plaintiff in a collision between his auto and that of defendant. The case was tried before Paul W. Guilford, Judge, and a jury, and a verdict of $500 returned for plaintiff. From an order denying his motion for a new trial on the issue of damages only or, in the alternative, for a new trial on all issues, plaintiff appealed, notwithstanding defendants consent to an increase of the verdict to $1,000, conditioned upon the granting of a new trial to plaintiff on the issue of damages if defendant should refuse to consent to such increase.
