Algebra in Pictures Book 1

Algebra in Pictures Book 1 is the third book in the series, starting with the order of operations which apply throughout arithmetic & algebra. The four reviews in this chapter give extensive practice in mental arithmetic. As before in this series each chapter has pictures supported by text, worked examples, a glossary and reviews. This book introduces algebra notation, followed by expanding brackets, simple equations, comparing equations with & without brackets, equations with the unknown term in the denominator, and where the unknown term occurs twice. The final chapter looks at solving linear inequalities.
