After 20 years of marriage, the author found herself blindsided and facing divorce.  Dazed and confused, she stumbled in the dark trying to figure a way to survive.  In sheer desperation and to make sure she didn’t do something she might regret later, she started a journal project that morphed into Becoming Unmarried.


This is an honest and unfettered, often funny account of a very unfunny time.  From navigating the actual legal process to finding new ways to cope with being a “suddenly single” woman, the author takes you along on her emotional roller coaster ride and offers insights into dealing with the idiosyncrasies of divorce.
