Paul Neely returns home from the battlefields of Iraq and attempts to reconnect with his friends, his family and the girl next door. The war may be over, but battles still rage within Paul as he grapples with the tragedies he witnessed half a world away. But a new war is about to begin... Far out at sea, due to a remarkable set of meteorological circumstances, a massive hurricane is building just offshore. Paul now must put his emotions behind him and call upon his military skills in order to help save his best friend, Janet Boothby, and her third grade class. As storms rage around him and within him, Paul must soldier on for the benefit of Janet, for the benefit of the kids, for the benefit of everyone but himself.
