Daniel R. Jones v. Equitable Life Assurance Society United States

In April, 1926, Jane Thompson Hart, nee Jane C. Thompson, being the owner of the fee, mortgaged the said lands to Buckman
and Ulmer, which mortgage was assigned to appellee, The Equitable Life Assurance Society of the United States, for value before
maturity.
