Dead Heat

When the team is called to a scene outside the high school with multiple deaths, they knew it was going to be bad. 
Tyler is the cousin of their Lieutenant's new wife, and a veteran with PTSD. He tries to tell them a ghost made him do it. 

"The ghost made him do it," Jamie muttered. "Yeah, this doesn't sound good at all."

In a race against time, Jack, Jamie, and Mike are in a dead heat between the living and the ghosts.

Local legends speak of the 'shadow man', a dark shadow of a man with glowing red eyes. Some say it's the ghost of a pirate from the 1800s, others call it a demon, but the newest ghosts know it's what killed them – and it's nothing good.

The dead are piling up and they're going to have to work with the Watchers to stop a serial killer ghost. 

As more mass casualty events happen all over the city, with no logical connection, panic and fear take over. There's only one connection – the shadow man – and it's not one they can release to the public and still be taken seriously.

The race against time is a dead heat between the team and the entity—and there's no guarantee the team will win.
