Debits and Credits
In Accountancy every debit has a credit.
Kevin McAteer, twenty-three, living in London, is about to discover that real life is different.
Just qualified as a Chartered Accountant after years of penury and study, he is flying high with a new Bedsit and a new girlfriend, Paula.

An audit investigation in Maidenhead leads him into danger, with fraud, people smugglers, murderers, and money laundering.

His co-worker, twenty-year old Abagail, asks Kevin to ruin her reputation to enable her to avoid an arranged marriage within her religious community.
Abagail's domineering father seeks lethal retribution for the perceived ruination of his daughter.
And Paula wants to know what is really going on.
And a lethal Italian hitman is looking for a missing five million.
Kevin has to stay afloat in his work and in his love life in this romantic thriller.

"Long term employee, good at his job," I offered.
"He drives a Mercedes Benz."
"Yes, he seems to like cars. We've talked about cars. I might be able to afford one in the coming years. He knows his cars."
"Changes it every two years," Granny remarked.
"And it's not a company car," I added.
"He's just back from a holiday on the Cayman Islands, or so one of the girls in the office tells me," she continued.
I frowned, wondering where this was going.
"In conversation he mentioned that he had an inheritance," I said, remembering he'd said something on those lines in conversation a couple of years ago when he acquired his previous Mercedes and given me the grand tour of its leather seats and so forth.
"That's what the girls tell me," Granny said with a sparkle in her eye.
"So?" I asked.
"I want you to look into it. If something is too good to be true, it's too good to be true."
"It is?"
"We don't pay him that well and it's rumoured amongst the girls that recently he has a fancy girl with big tits and small clothes."
"Granny, that's a bit gossipy. Is it fact or rumour?"
"More than a rumour. He told the Financial Director he'd had a great holiday and mentioned she'd been along."
I took a breath.
"Thanks for the 'heads up', I'll look into it," I said.
