Demons of War

When Major Tom Lewis and his battalion headed to Afghanistan, they knew they were in for the fight of their lives. They were prepared for anything, but they didn’t expect the supernatural. The story takes place in the dust filled, far-flung parts of Afghanistan, better known to history as the graveyard of empires. The door of the air transport lowers on the tarmac and as soon as the boots are on the ground, the battle for their lives begins. The story grabs you by the shirt collar and throws you into the middle of the chaos right from the start. It is a hard-brutal fight for the soldiers, then their reality pivots into a place where the domain of man and the realm of myth collide at the fringe of the world.
In the remotest part of Afghanistan where maps, technology and satellites have no governance, sits Base Camp Echo. Major Lewis tries to navigate several tribes of people in this part of the world along with his enemies. In one of the villages he meets a woman named Lilith, her brother named Zlov and their father Shaw Kahn. Major Lewis and Lilith are drawn to each other and set the globe spinning in their wake. The world of Major Lewis and all his men transform as the reality of war, echoes of the past and the supernatural blend together as events spiral out of control in this forgotten backwater of our planet.
