Escaping with You

Nearly a decade has passed since Logan last saw his ex-girlfriend. He misses her, but he's accepted his role running the family restaurant. So what if his heart has never gotten over Darcy? She lives in a world of affluence far removed from his humble life in Shadow Cove, Maine.

For Darcy, losing Logan meant losing both her first love and her best friend. She adapted to life without him and knows seeing him again could serve no good purpose. When she's forced to accompany her aunt to Shadow Cove, she's surprised to find Logan is the caterer for the event she's there to attend.

Logan and Darcy manage to avoid each other, but when a masked assailant opens fire on Darcy and her aunt, Logan jumps into the role of protector.
