Estate of Stevens v. Wetzel

1. Edward H. Stevens, III was retained by Peggy Cuevas to represent her on a contingent fee basis in a personal
injury action. Cuevas subsequently discharged Stevens as her attorney and retained James K. Wetzel to represent her on a contingent
fees basis with essentially the same terms. Stevens claimed a fee based on quantum meruit.
