EURO CRISIS: Another Perspective

Six years after the economic and financial crisis erupted in the euro-area, when compared with the USA and with the European Union non-euro bloc, the performance of the euro-area is very disappointing. Which suggests that euro-area outcome was not inevitable; that this performance could have been better; that if it was not, it can only be attributable of the economic policy pursued by the Eurozone. What boils down in the end to the conclusion that the economic policy applied by the Eurozone to combat the crisis was inappropriate.
