This is an edited volume that examines the features and functions of legitimacy in the international realm, mainly in the context of the United Nations, its institutions (in particular the Security Council), and its policies. Covering international law, international relations, and philosophy, this book focuses on what is right and what is wrong at the international level, especially in terms of the behavior of countries, and on the disputes surrounding the determination of right and wrong.
