 A science fiction novel based on the adventures of two brothers, Alex and Mike Scott. Their privileged lives are a springboard to diverse, ambitious careers that are on a collision course with history.

Alex is a gifted linguist destined for the diplomatic corp. Mike loves geology and the methods and hardware used for mining minerals and exotic metals wherever they can be found. They love their parents, Kevin and Judith, and admire their Uncle Will who is terminally ill, but living life to the fullest on the banks of Nanjemoy Creek in Southern Maryland.
