Gonzalez v. Villarreal

This is an accelerated appeal in an election contest. Appellants, Arturo Gonzalez and Esperanza Ochoa, appeal from the trial courts order voiding an election and ordering a new election in places four and five of the board of trustees for the La Joya Independent School District ("La Joya ISD"). By three issues, appellants argue that (1) the trial court erred in voiding the election, (2) there were no irregularities in the appointment of elections officials, and (3) the trial court erred in allowing testimony alleging a conspiracy because there was no corroborating evidence. We affirm.
