Hatley v. State

On September 12, 2003, a Hunt County grand jury indicted Larry Darnell Hatley for capital murder. The indictment specifically alleged Hatley, on July 18, 2003, individually and acting as a party to the offense with Lauron Bernard Willis and Cedrick Lamone Lewis, did then and there intentionally and knowingly cause the death of an individual, Edi Cruz Garcia by shooting him with a firearm, and the murder of Edi Cruz Garcia was committed intentionally in the course of committing or attempting to commit robbery . . . .
