Jeanette Adele Davis v. State Alaska

Jeanette Davis was convicted of possession of heroin following a trial by jury. In this appeal she presents two specifications of error. Her first assignment of error asserts that the trial court erred in refusing to grant her motion for judgment of acquittal at the close of the states evidence. She also claims that it was error for the court to allow the prosecution to comment on her failure to tell the state troopers at the time of her arrest the exculpatory story she testified to at trial.
