John A. Perrine, Complainant v. the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal Company

THIS cause came up from the Circuit Court of the United States for Delaware, on a certificate of division in opinion between the judges thereof. It involved the construction of the ninth and eleventh sections of the charter granted by Maryland, the provisions of which are similar to those of the charter granted by Delaware.
