The opinion of the court was delivered by This is a K.S.A. 1992 Supp. 60-1102 mechanic's lien case. The controlling issue is whether the lien was timely filed. Manhattan Mall Company (the Company) sued to remove the cloud of a mechanic's lien on an abandoned leasehold interest in a shopping mall. The trial court ruled that the lien filed by Alan J.
