Memoirs of the Crusades

This book contains the memoirs of two figures who lived and experienced the Crusades firsthand, Villehardouin and Joinville. Villehardouin's memoir focuses on his experience of the Fourth Crusade and the siege of Constantinople, while Joinville's memoir tells the story of the Seventh Crusade and Louis IX of France.
