Modernization in the Islamic Forms of Devotion‪?‬

Religions that have lost their original purity stand in need of modernization, for a Revealed Book that has suffered human interpolation can no longer command the faithful allegiance of reasonable men. Similarly, religious institutions that derive their origin from synods and councils in past generations cannot lay claim to any degree of permanency.
