Appellant entered into two loan transactions with appellee totalling $6,216.02 on August 22, 1974 and October 1, 1974. On May 5, 1976 appellee sued appellant for $4,646.32, the outstanding balance owing on the loans. In his answer and counterclaim appellant alleged several violations of the federal "Truth in Lending" statute -- the Consumer Credit Protection Act, 15 U.S.C.A. § 1601 et seq. 1968)*fn1 (hereinafter referred to as TILA).
