People Ex Rel. Burbank v. Irving

In 1970 the petitioner, Ronald Burbank, was found guilty of murder and was sentenced to an indeterminate term of 100 to 150 years' imprisonment following a jury trial in the circuit court of Cook County. He was convicted of participating in an aborted armed robbery in which his partner had shot and killed the victim.
