People State New York v. Tommy Lee Newson

The defendant was indicted for murder in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree (an electrical cord) in connection with the death by strangulation of one Mildred Cheeks. Thereafter the Supreme Court, Queens County (Browne, J.), granted defendants motion to suppress certain statements made by him to the police and the District Attorney. The People appeal. There should be an affirmance.
